A programme to provide appropriate phonemic reading skills for every young child!
Introduction to our new, "SMART EDUCARE - PHONICS SERIES"

The "SMART EDUCARE - PHONICS SERIES" is not a systematic approach to teaching phonics to preschoolers but very essentially provides relevant reading materials as practices. The heart of this programme is to effectively deliver the function of phonics in the acquisition of their reading skills.

It is a tested approach combined with a lot of real reading practices which is one of the core essential criterias in making the approach successful. Upon completion of the series, a high percentage of children will acquire an independent reading ability. And with such ability, comes the confidence and thus, love for the language.

It is our hope that this new series shall bring upon a new generation of skilled readers, operating independently with their skills in decoding words as opposed to the less effective method of using memories.

Kids Reading 2.jpg

English, being the international language, is indispensable.

Children with reading difficulties are likely to be disadvantaged.

Not only will they be unable to learn rapidly through reading, their self-confidence in learning may be affected as well.

As such, it is paramount for children to acquire reading skills in the kindergarten years.

Our phonics module is designed to help children pick up English literacy skills at an early age.

What children learn at each level?

FOUNDATION 1

Single letter sounds from Aa to Mm

FOUNDATION 2

Single Letter sounds from Nn to Zz

LEVEL 1

Word Families of Vowel a, e, i, o, u

LEVEL 2

Beginning & End Consonant Blends

Beginning & End Consonant Digraphs

LEVEL 3

Long Vowels & Vowel Digraphs

LEVEL 4

Ending Sounds, Sounds of y

To become skilled readers, children must be able to decode and identify words quickly and accurately.

Phonics is a good way to introduce children to the world of reading.

Our phonics module helps children learn the relationship between the letters of written language and the sounds of spoken language, and to use this knowledge to read, spell and write better.

The READER

Couldn't be more excited to have the children start their reading  journey by themselves.

Children would now find it a real fun and a challenge to try to use their phonemic reading skills, enhanced through our method using the PHONICS SERIES.

These series of readers are especially designed for children to practise decoding the words.

They would be fun, challenging reads, as the children are now able to put their phonemic reading skills into practice!

And the discovery of such a challenge with a newfound ability to counter it, will act as a driving force in the desire for more reads.

A good phonics programme should enable the children to learn the skills meaningfully.

Our phonics module lets children learn words in context.

Besides phonetic words, children also learn sight words (many of which are high frequency words) so that they can apply their skills in reading real books.

The sense of achievement when children learn to read at a young age will spur them to read even more!
