Timeline

1998

- Smart Educare Sdn. Bhd. officially started its business at

   Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya.

 

1999

- Set up own R&D with a total work force of 5 persons.

   We also set up our marketing team.

   Our first market is in Negeri  Sembilan and Selangor.

 

2000

- Market: 4 new markets, Johore, Malacca, Sabah & Sarawak.

   No. of kindergarten: 50
   Programme: 60 new titles inclusive of assessment programme.
   Other:

- Provide each kindergarten a banner.
- Programme was distributed monthly to kindergarten.

 

2001

- Market: 2 new markets, Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.

    No. of kindergarten: 96
    Programme: additional 40 new titles

    Other:

    Upgrade teaching material i.e.
- Worksheets to workbooks.
- Programme was distributed quarterly.

 

2002

- Market: 2 new markets, Penang & Perak
   No. of kindergarten: 180
   Programme: 
   - Completed the whole range of products (120 titles)
   - Enhance on the effectiveness by allowing an immediate
      change of language (3 languages)(text and sound)
   - Improve the quality of assessment with better time control.
   - Engage professional recorder to enhance the quality of
      sound and effect.

 

2003

- Market: 2 new markets, Perlis & Kedah
   No. of kindergarten: 250
   Programme: 
   - Upgraded 30% of existing programme with better animation and

      programme.
   - New Titles include:
   My computer: -(4,5 & 6 - three chapter each)
     Age 4: - I love fruits
                 - Self-introduction
                 - This is my body
     Age 5: - My house
                 - Safety at home
                 - Weather and climate
     Age 6: - My School
                 - Transportation
            - Knowing occupation 
- Improve the flow of each of the programme to make it more 
  fun.

 

2004

-  Market: Expanded to east coast, Kelantan.
    No. of kindergarten: 300
    Programme: 

   - Added a new programme called "Bonus Programme".

     This programme includes titles that are divided according

      to level, example
      Mathematics module(Level 1-10 from counting to addition 
      and subtraction), phonics and suku kata (revision) and also 
      titles that are suitable for all ages (Festival in Malaysia).

   - Add-in new controlling system that will be able to detect   

      whether the children had completed the whole programme

      or not.

    - New titles include:
      Age 4:  - Animal world
                  - Swimming attire 
      Age 5: - Nursery
      Age 6: - Knowing vegetables
                 - I love fruits (part2)
                 - Water sport

2005

- Market:

   - Supplied and installed to one of the Ministry-run 
      kindergartens in Selangor.
   - Expanding our market to overseas and have successfully 
      localized our programme into the local language.

   Programme: 
    - Add 13 new titles (SK - 10, SK1 - 1 and SK2 - 2). And thus  

       completed the whole Smart Preschool programme.

 

2006

- Market:
   No. of NEW kindergarten: 150

   - Newly designed flyer/banner/bunting/folder have been 
      distributed to the kindergartens.
   - Website of kindergarten has been published.
   - We have covered the schools & kindergartens of private &
      government sector at the overseas market.

 

2012

-  We've shifted to a new office building in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam.
